Product Specialist

Job Summary & Responsibilities

You will work with removing technical barriers to sale, managing new customer implementations and providing technical guidance in the development of ThinLinc solutions together with our customers and partners.

We are looking for a business oriented person with excellent communication skills. It's very important that you have a good understanding in Information Technology Solutions, to be able to see and deliver new business opportunities.

Key responsibilities include:

• In conjunction with designated business unit resources, provide guidance to end users on implementation projects.
• Responsible for deliverables, schedule, business proposals, presentations and quality of projects.
• Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure ultimate customer satisfaction. Handle special projects as assigned.
• Participate in pre-sale to discuss product technology and how ThinLinc solutions address on going and project-related issues.
• Perform product demonstrations and respond to questions related to product technology and capabilities related to the client’s needs.
• Organize and conduct on-site Proof of Concept sessions with prospective clients to demonstrate capabilities in their own environment.
• Developing and nurturing on-going client relationships in a quality and professional manner working with Cendio employees, client employees and partners.

Successful candidates will have experience with implementation of Server Based Computing within the fields of Linux-, Unix- and Windows systems.

Do you have expertise in the fields of Linux, Windows Terminal Services, VMware, VDI, Directory Services, OpenGL or Open Source you will be of particular interest to us.

Your Profile

• Proven record of successful Server Based Computing project, implementations and upgrades.
• Good knowledge and understanding of Virtualization technology, processes and structure.
• Proven client management skills and the ability to work with managers, directors within a client organization on project schedule, execution, issues and executive management.
• Project Management skills.
• Functional hands-on configuration skills in Server Based Computing projects preferred.
• Solid consultative, client relationship building and business acumen skills.
• Ability to effectively present information and proposals, in verbal or written form.
• Ability to understand client needs, and explain and apply cost-effective technology alternatives to meet them.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and create solutions to complex Information Technology related problems.
• Fluent in Swedish, written and verbal communication skills.
• Fluent in English, written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven facilitation, teamwork and collaboration skills.
• A valid driver's license.
• Placement: Linköping, Sweden.
