New version of ThinLinc Terminal Server

Cendio AB presents a new version of ThinLinc terminal server, version 1.3. A number of new features have been added in this version.

Support for local drives The local disk drives of the clients are now accessible from the terminal servers. CD-ROMs, floppies, digital cameras etc. can now be accessed from both Linux and Windows applications.

Support for other Linux distributions on the server The ThinLinc servern can now be run on other Linux distributions than RedHat, for instance on SuSE Linux 9.0.

Desktop Customizer It is now easy to build customized Linux desktops for the users.

Other news The new version contains a number of new features, for instance a "virtual serial port" which enables synchronizing PDA:s from the client, and improved support for the "nearest printer" function.
