Flexibility
ThinLinc can easily be integrated with your existing environment, no matter if it's based on software from Microsoft, Novell or some other vendor.
ThinLinc is added to the present environment and is simple to
introduce to a system without affecting the existing infrastructure.
Different systems work side by side with the ThinLinc system. This
makes it easy to introduce and step by step migrate to ThinLinc in
different parts of the organization. It's also easy to tailor ThinLinc
to specific needs. The idea is that ThinLinc is adapted to the work
methods instead of the other way around.
Step-by-step migration
Through the flexible architecture of ThinLinc, it's possible to use a whole new method of introducing the product to the organization, where design and implementation is geared towards a specific user group. By making the adaptations in the product rather than at the user end, it's possible to make the introduction quicker and more efficient.
An efficient organization enables an incremental and parallell design and implementation of ThinLinc in each separate department, with their specific requirements and wishes in mind.
In this way the system can be introduced in a shorter time and in a more efficient way and take into account the different preconditions within the organization. ThinLinc can also be more quickly adapted to the introduction of new methods or tools, since these can be introduced in those places in the organization where they are needed the most.
Easy to adapt
ThinLinc is based on Open Source software. This means that ThinLinc is easy to adapt to specific requirements or demands of the organization. The idea is that the users shouldn't have to change the way they work just because new technology is introduced.
However, it's possible to tailor the tools to the needs and competence of each individual work group through the linux based workspace.
There are also possibilities for making the working methods more efficient by smart solutions for terminal emulations or tools for program development.
