Comment 1 Peter Åstrand cendio 2009-05-07 10:20:50 CEST
I've been doing all my testing on SLED11 and it works quite good. Not tested upgrade though, since earlier versions of TL does not run.
Comment 2 Aaron Sowry cendio 2010-03-30 14:13:32 CEST
Tester should check that /opt/thinlinc/bin/tl-vdi-tool gets installed setgid root
Comment 3 Peter Åstrand cendio 2010-04-29 11:19:03 CEST
Been using SLED11 for all my tests. tl-vdi-tool is correctly setgid.

Tested upgrade from 3.0.0, works ok.

Tested gtkperf. With 3.1.0, it actually executes 45% faster than with 3.0.0. Nice.
Comment 4 Peter Åstrand cendio 2011-08-09 10:48:33 CEST
Tested upgrade from 3.1.2, works ok. Clean installation as well. gtkperf performance is the same. Youtube with sound works good.

Limited testing has been done, but nothing with the beta builds or later.

SLED11 machine copied to /import/vmware-images.

I have installed 3.2.0 on a clean SLED11 64bit machine and then connected/discnonected from a session with a user, update the server
to 3.3.0 build 3309 and reconnected to same session, logged out and
created a new with success..
Tested some basics and performance change was very notable while playing
a youtube clip..
Comment 7 Henrik Andersson cendio 2011-12-28 13:40:57 CET
I have also tested some basic redirections, scard thru
client->wts->netid, sound which also works as expected..
Comment 8 Henrik Andersson cendio 2011-12-28 14:50:23 CET
Closing this bug now after some testing..
Comment 9 Aaron Sowry cendio 2012-05-29 17:15:24 CEST
Installation of latest nightly build works fine - I have also done a lot of installation testing on SLED 11 while testing tl-setup.

Upgrade from 3.3.0 to nightly also appears to be okay. Closing.
Comment 10 Aaron Sowry cendio 2012-05-31 16:14:07 CEST
Tested with 3.4.0rc1.

Updates fine from 3.3.0 on SLED11 SP2. Installation on a fresh install also goes without problems. Closing.

Unfortunately, bug 4416 happens basically all the time.

> Unfortunately, bug 4416 happens basically all the time.

Not a regression though. Perhaps related to a particular set of updates. We haven't had any reports of this problem for 3.4.0 @ SLED11, so we can probably live with this bug for now, provided that we have the workaround.

Besides the problem above, the installation seems to work fine on SLED11. Good enough for me.

Verified upgrade from 4.0.0 to 4.1.0 build 3993, everything seems to work as expected.
Comment 14 Henrik Andersson cendio 2013-06-24 09:54:54 CEST
I have done alot of testing of ThinLinc 4.1.0 on SLED 11 Sp2 while testing the other bugs without any issues (except those reported and fixed).
