We currently have a menu to access the client when it is running, whilst the norm for remote desktop and virtual desktop interfaces seems to be to have a toolbar. We should probably switch to that model as it is probably more discoverable, and it's what users expect.
Some notes: - Should be possible to reach and use this with either keyboard or mouse. - Might need to have a configurable position, as different desktops have their primary panel in different places. - Probably want a pinning option - Buttons should probably be icons, with tooltips, to keep the thing small
