In some situations, it would be helpful to reconnect to a session without restarting the client - for example, if a laptop is put to sleep with the client in full-screen mode, and then woken up again. This would give a more seamless "local desktop" experience. SunRay handles automatic reconnects after sleep, for example. One suggestion was to have a "reconnect" option in the F8-menu.
