Description Pierre Ossman cendio 2019-12-16 16:14:11 CET
Our current Thinstation documentation was written somewhere during the Thinstation 2.2/2.4 era. They are currently on version 6.2 so quite a bit has changed. E.g. TS-o-matic doesn't seem to exist anymore.

The basic packaging structure still exists though, but we probably need to be more clear about where to unpack our files and when this is appropriate.

We probably need to fix this now that we updated the packaging in bug 7363.

Most of the documentation can probably just be thrown out, as we don't want to duplicate ThinStation's own documentation.

Should be good enough now.

Looks good. I followed our updated instructions and those on the ThinStation web pages. I set up a DevStation VM, replaced the ThinLinc client as described, and built a new image. I then installed the resulting ISO on a different VM and tested ThinStation and the updated ThinLinc client like that. Worked like a charm.

I noticed that we're not getting an icon for the client, see bug 4713 about that.

Style-wise things look good both in the PDF and in HTML. The links work, and I didn't see any typos.
