Implementing this bug is mostly about setting up a Solaris x86 cross compile environment. We also need to build and install all dependencies. (One positive thing about this is that then we can easily build a Solaris x68 client, see bug 2306). 

The initial setup and porting should be relative fast. After all, bug 572 only took 15 hours.
