Description Peter Åstrand cendio 2018-12-04 14:31:17 CET
Our .deb packages causes a lot of "lintian" warnings. We have done some work on this in the past (see bug 3995 and bug 5232) and apparently the client can be installed through file manager on a modern Ubuntu without fatal warnings now. However, when using "lintian" without options from a command line, a lot of errors and warnings are produced. Some of these are difficult/impossible to fix, while others are easy.

This bug applies to both the server and client packages.

Motivation for doing this bug could be that fewer warnings/errors gives a better impression, but also that some of the issues actually makes sense to fix.
