We're currently using 7.9p1, but we should now be able to upgrade to 8.0p1 which is the latest version right now.

Verified that the client worked on Fedora 30, Windows 10 and macOS 10.14:

 - Password authentication       ✓
 - Kerberos authentication       ✓
 - Smart Card authentication     ✓
 - Local devices tunneling works ✓
 - Compatible with old server    ✓ (*)

(*) Tested against RHEL 6 server
