Welcome, 10ZiG: Expanding the ThinLinc ecosystem with a complete Linux workspace

Jul, 17, 26

We're excited to announce a new technology partnership between Cendio ThinLinc and 10ZiG Technology, bringing together two complementary solutions to simplify secure Linux desktop delivery.

The collaboration combines ThinLinc's Linux Server-Based Computing platform with 10ZiG's purpose-built endpoint hardware, repurposing software, and endpoint management platform. Together, the solution enables organizations to deploy secure, centralized Linux desktops that are easier to manage, more cost-effective, and built for long-term scalability.

Native ThinLinc support on 10ZiG endpoints

One of the key milestones of this partnership is the expansion of the 10ZiG Ready ecosystem through native ThinLinc support across 10ZiG endpoint solutions. By integrating the ThinLinc client directly into PeakOS™ and RepurpOS™, organizations can deliver a true Linux-to-Linux workspace while continuing to support Windows-based endpoints where needed.

As Tom Dodds, Global Strategic Alliances Manager at 10ZiG Technology, explains:

"By integrating the ThinLinc client directly into PeakOS and RepurpOS, we're giving customers the ability to deploy a true Linux-to-Linux workspace while also supporting Windows-based endpoints where needed. The result is a secure, lightweight endpoint strategy that simplifies management without compromising flexibility."

Benefits of centralized Linux desktops and secure endpoints

The combined solution enables organizations to strengthen endpoint security with lightweight, stateless Linux operating systems, reduce infrastructure costs by extending the lifecycle of existing devices, and simplify endpoint administration by combining ThinLinc's centralized management with the no-additional-cost 10ZiG Manager™ platform. Together, these capabilities provide secure remote access for distributed teams across engineering, education, research, manufacturing, government, and enterprise environments.

Johan Igheimer, CEO of Cendio and ThinLinc USA, highlights the value of this collaboration:

"ThinLinc has always focused on providing organizations with secure, reliable, and efficient remote access to Linux desktops and applications. Working with 10ZiG extends those capabilities with purpose-built endpoint hardware and management, giving customers a complete solution that is simple to deploy, easy to manage, and built for long-term success."

Advancing secure Linux desktop delivery together

Beyond the technology itself, this partnership represents a shared commitment to helping organizations modernize Linux desktop delivery through joint technical validation, customer enablement, and go-to-market initiatives.

We're proud to welcome 10ZiG to the ThinLinc ecosystem and look forward to helping organizations around the world modernize secure Linux desktop delivery together.
